Love's Light

Though the sky may appear darker
Than the darkest night could be
Reach out your heart, stretch out your hand,
And you will always find me..

For nothing is as bad as it seems
When someone that loves is near
You have my hope, my friendship heart,
So dear one don't fear..

To share in the hurting, the feelings of woe
To assist with those against you, help to escape your foe.
I am always here to help comfort, with a heart that is true
So you see my precious friend,
Love's Light comes shining through..

Priceless Gifts

Life holds so many priceless gifts
The sunny sky, the starry night,
The shimmering lake, the rippling brook
And the blessed dove in flight..

The view of sunset when the day has passed
The burning dawn, or the Mountains tall.
No amount of money can buy such as this,
For these gifts belong to one and all..

A baby's smile, the coo of a bird,
The tot's gentle laugh, the joy so sublime
Will stay with us in memory
Now and for all time..

Offer

Come around Seven When the moon is out; I'll ask the Queen to send a guide To show us both about.

You'd better bring your overshoes And a cover for your hair; You'll soon be wet with night dew, And burrs are everywhere.

You must watch sharply And not cough or sneeze; You will see the lanterns Of stars among the trees.

You must listen closely And not draw away; You'll hear the misty fairies Laughing in their play.

Please

Please be careful where you tread,
The fairies are about;
Last night when I had gone to bed,
I heard them creeping out.

And wouldn't it be a dreadful thing,
To do a fairy harm?
To crush a little delicate wing,
Or bruise a tiny arm?
They're all about the place, I know,
So do be careful where you go.
